This document forms part of the online store policy required by Article (15/1) of Decree-Law No. (21) of 2025 on Electronic Commerce (قرار بقانون رقم (21) لسنة 2025م بشأن التجارة الإلكترونية).
Identity of the online store
- Trading name: Shu Abalak (شو عبالك؟)
- Legal operator: قيد الاستكمال، ويُعلَن قبل الإطلاق
- Online store registration number in the e-commerce register at the Ministry of National Economy: قيد التسجيل، ويُستكمل قبل الإطلاق
- Place of business: The State of Palestine.
Nature of the service
Shu Abalak is a Palestinian ordering platform operating through the customer app and the website. It connects consumers with commercial businesses registered with us, and it delivers the order or arranges its shipment.
The platform operates in three sections:
- Restaurants: meals and drinks prepared to order.
- Supermarkets: food and everyday consumer goods.
- Shops: clothing, electronics, household goods and other non-food items.
Who the seller is, and who is responsible
The product you buy is sold by the commercial business shown on the order page, and that business is responsible for its specification, quality, safety, price and availability.
Even so, under Article (11/2) of the Electronic Commerce Decree-Law, the platform is responsible for the proper performance of the obligations arising from the electronic contract concluded through it, whether it performs them itself or someone else performs them on its behalf — including the business, the driver and the shipping company.
Put plainly: we do not refer you to the business to sort it out yourself. If your order does not arrive, arrives different from what you ordered, or is late against the agreed time, our responsibility towards you stands and we are the ones who follow it up with you until it is resolved.
